Ya it would depend what I was famous for. If it was because I did something amazing to really help humankind, then thats awesome. For eg, find a cure for Parkinson's. You would be well-respected, and would have done something great for people(although in that case I'd still rather be more contented with the fact that I had really helped out the human race, rather than being happy that everyone knows who I am. There's something quite narcassastic in that). I just thought the question was that we're the exact same as we are now, just everyone knows who we are. In which case I wouldnt give two craps about being famous.
For the record I'm not really that money-hungry either(I wouldnt be in the Education program right now if that were the case). I just think its the better option.
