Gimme a break. Alcohol affects your liver, you'd better not drink or you might be taking up a much needed bed for someone who doesn't drink and needs a liver replacement. Cows are given hormones that affect some stuff in you so you'd better not eat that either. And let's not forget veggies... they're sprayed with all sorts of stuff. You'd better make sure you're only eating organic and that the cows who produce the dung to fertilize your veggies are not given hormones or you might end up ingesting some of that too...

Yes, alcohol affects your liver in LARGE quantities.....smoke affects your lungs, heart and brain in 1 single cigerette. Don't try and compare Alcohol to Cigeretts because you can't. Alcohol can be drank with positive health effects where as smoking doesn't provide any meaningful effect.
As for your statements about food, you are comparing apples to oranges. People MUST eat food, food is good for the body, it is REQUIRED, it benifits the person. Are there some side effects, yes even if you eat 100% pure food there are side effects. The simple process of metabolism is negative on the body, it is required but it a negative process an many cases.
Smoking pot or cigs is NOT required, it is BAD for the body, it does not benifit the person (other than purely psychologically).
There is NO reason for it.
