It's not a crime to park in front of a house that isn't yours on the street and you can have as many vehicles as you want. It's public property, the most they can do is tag your car as an "Abandoned Vehicle" and you have 72hrs to move the vehicle. Even moving the vehicle to the other side of the street is fine.
If you think the parking spot on the street anywhere near your house is your right think again...
