In Silver Springs, across form my parents house, this Christian family (it is relevant) moved in across the street and the father was some sort of evangelical minister.
So first, he would have all of these kids that he had around the house (some were foster kids or something?) invite their friends over for 'parties' where they would be allowed to party after listening to a sermon(?)/youth outreach from god thing.
And then second, he and his wife would also have large groups of adults over for sermons(?) and other relgious type events.
It got to the point that there were consistently, 3-5 days a week, 20-50 cars parked on our quiet residential streets.
It was fine the first few times but once it was a constant problem we called in the by-law officer. This Christian family was all mad and sent the officer away saying they had some right to assembly and were just throwing the odd religious party - the officer, apparently being a sympathetic christian, agreed. So we had to assemble a bunch of evidence and go right to the city and demand that they move their assembly to a commercial/properly zoned area to which the city agreed and after ~2 years of not being able to park my car within a block or two of my house it was finally quiet.
My parents talk to all of our neighbours except for them, as they won't even look towards us, and this is like 5 years later. Kind of ironic, i thought forgiveness was their whole schtick?? lol....
