Because it doesn't snow enough to justify buying the equipment needed. People like to call Vancouverites wimps when it comes to the snow, but in reality, we just aren't prepared for it....and why would we?
Anyway, all my friends at UBC are irate with the fact that almost every school in the GVRD closed but UBC. Suckers!
