The prime reason I went into engineering back then, not one paper required to be wrote in 4 years.
|
I rather write a paper then write one of these exams....
Maundy's 343 Final
|
authorization required.
|
Hmm, I can't see it neither, but I've spoken with TOTF before, and we're studying the same fun stuff... perhaps it requires the usage of one of these...?
I get headaches when I stare for too long...
|
Ehhhhhhhhhh.
I hate all analog stuff. Its a complete headace for me.
Transistors, Op-Amps, Bode Plots, any thing to do with control systems, inductors, conductors, RC circuits, filters and all that other stuff. Any class tought by Sessay, Potter, Haslett, Minchev or Maundy spells trouble for me.
That stuff makes me so confused. I still dont think I have a firm understanding of the fundamentals of that stuff.
Believe it or not, Programming is the easiest thing for me to grasp. I find the programming exams the easiest (its not easy, but its less difficult then the other ones).
Also I dont mind doing programming labs. They get frsutrating when you have to de-bug but its still some what OK.
|
Java makes me cry.
C, C++, I don't mind so much...
I love electromagnetism and RF stuff though... B-)
|
Are you kidding me? That stuff makes NO sense.
Our prof was finding the Electric Field or the Electric Force back in of this pyramid shape thing using coloumb's law back in ENEL 475.
The lecture still gives me nightmares.
Of course its a bit easier with Guasses Law, but still thats just crazy ass math with too many intergals....
Here is some stuff for you if you like Electromagnetics

Ahhh... how I miss transmission lines... sorta off-topic, but did you (or any other electrical engineers) ever derive formulas in exams?
I find it A LOT easier to derive formulas than memorize them, and solving problems is much simpler for me when I derive the formulas first 'cause I understand what exactly is happening... I don't think the profs appreciate my 4 or 5 extra attached pages though, but that's their problem!!
