Depends where you're at. From what I've noticed lately from going to clubs, the bartenders(I dont mean anything by this, but its usually the women ones) will already extract their tip from your change(which I notice is around a dollar). So in this sitchy you dont even need to worry about it, though it still p***** me off when they do it.
EDIT: I see this has already been mentioned earlier in this thread. Good to see its not just me being made a chump out of. The worst is when youre drunk and dont realize they've already extracted their tip from you until you've already dropped a loonie in the tip jar. It makes me want to pull a Costanza and fish it back out of there.
