More like 5 games on here, but regardless there could have been 75 games, nobody is watching ... compared to NCAA FB ratings anyway.

Well no kidding. When has BBall EVER had the same ratings as football during regular season? Doesn't take away from the fact that the tournament draws MASSIVE ratings because it IS a playoff system.

If you are perusing, go peruse TV ratings and see how they compare.

Just a quick FYI for you. If no one is watching, they wouldn't be showing the games. There are way more BBall teams than there are football, so its a much more regional type coverage as far as ratings go.

My point is that nobody has talked about it much here, and they haven't.

And rarely is until the playoffs start.

I only spend about a few days a month in the states, but I listen to national ESPN and FSR everyday on satillite, and NCAA BB is an afterthought there as well.

Well I live in the States and watch and listen every day. College BBall is by far the most talked about sport, right now, after the NFL. Once the SB is over and done, college Bball will dominate the airwaves. Far from the ridiculous assertion it is an "afterthought".
But I guess no one will be watching or listening huh?
CBS televises all 63 games of the tournament and paid 6 BILLION dollars over 11 years for the priviledge to do so. What were they thinking?
