Default Flames drub Hamilton 4-0

Curtis McElhinney made 26 saves for the shutout and Krys Kolanos scored a pair as the Quad City Flames beat the Hamilton Bulldogs 4-0 in AHL action Friday night. Grant Stevenson had 2 assists and Carsen Germyn was named first star of the game with 1 goal and 1 assist.

The Flames [21-18-2-5; 49 pts] are now in 5th place in the AHL's West Division, but Houston and Milwaukee both are 1 point behind with 4 and 3 games in hand, respectively.

Quad City heads to Toronto on Saturday to play the Marlies. The game can be seen on The Score starting at 2pm MT.
