Are you certain about the Antec 900 case? It does have a lot of fans, which can get annoying if you have them cranked. My power supply is quite new... probably 6-8 months. Should be alright.
I like the Antec 900 case and I like that it has a lot of fans... Keeps things pleasantly chilly in the case.
I understand about the poorer performance of the Phenom and I have been keeping an eye on it... I'm hoping AMD will launch another round of quad cores soon.
