Yeah, that's what I do with my soccer jerseys, though mine usually fit about right... the joys of being almost precisely a Nike/Puma/Kappa Large. But I've been saddled with XLs before and it feels like that for sure.
The new NikeFit jerseys don't even need the UA underneath, they breathe really well.
Cotton really is the enemy when its hot.
