Good one.
The Chiefs moved there in 1963 from Dallas and won two AFL Championships along with Super Bowl IV. The final NFL game played at Municipal Stadium was on December 25, 1971. The Chiefs played the Dolphins in the Divisional playoffs losing 27-24 in double overtime. The game is the longest ever played in NFL history at 82 minutes and 40 seconds. The Dolphins went on to lose the Super Bowl to the Cowboys. Coincidentally enough the first regular season game played at Arrowhead Stadium the following September was also against the Dolphins. It was win number one of the Dolphins 17-0 1972 season.
The two MLB teams that played at Municipal Stadium were the Kansas City Athletics who moved to Kansas City from Philadelphia and now reside in Oakland. The Royals Played in Municipal Stadium after the Athletics left and before the Harry S. Truman sports complex was completed in 1972.
