I completely understand your point about how this story may be getting more headlines than it deserves. I'm not disagreeing with that one bit.
But do we know for sure that he was laying in a 'pile of pills', or in a bed, with pills near by? You can have your opinion that you think it was an OD, based on the information that's been released, but I would have thought that if they had all the prescriptions handy, they would have been able to determin that it was in fact an OD at the autopsy. Because it's inconclusive, I am not jumping to conclusions. It's a possibility, but I'm also not losing sleep on how he died.
The other side of the coin is that I felt remorse right away for Chris Benoit when I heard he died. The more information came out, I hated myself for the remorse I spent on him. The more information helps people make a decision on how to feel.
Again, is Heath more deserving than someone here in our city who didn't make an impact in the public eye? No, not as far as I'm concerned. But the fact of the matter is people want to express themselves, and they should be able to do so in a manner they see fit, just like you have your opinions, regardless if it's OD, suicide, etc.
Some people don't care, and that's their perogitive. Some people will be going Chris Crocker on the situation and make it bigger than it's deserving IMO. I can't do anything about that.
If there's one thing I've noticed about CP, and I'm guilty of it too, is people are starting to not be alowed by the community on this forum to have an opinion, and that bothers me. People should be able to state their opionion without any disregard for their opinion, which is what I'm trying to do with this post.
