Also the angle of insertion is important, and I've seen alot of nurses not take this into account. Take a look at the course of the male urethra to understand this, but basically here's what you do:

Start with your dong horizontal to the ground and stretched out, and begin inserting the foley. Just after it passes into the base of your dong, angle the catheter upwards (by pulling/angling your dong downwards) and push the catheter. Dong, Dong and Dong.
