The other one: getting rid of the Rouge! I'm for this on the FG side - failure should not be rewarded, but if it's a punt that gets downed or goes through the endzone, it should be a point (especially considering downing it can be considered to have the same effect as the first rule proposed)

I don't see the rouge as a 'point for failure', I see it as a 'reward for kicking the ball into the end zone'. Remember, the other team can for the most part bring it out, even return the ball for a touchdown. It's a live play, unlike in the NFL where once the ball goes past the line of scrimmage it's just another dead kicking play, like PATs and most punts in the American game.
