Let me preface this conversation by stating that I don't like watching hockey with women (as a rule), since they typically don't pay enough attention to the game (sorry to female fans out there, I know this is a stereotype and lots of you are better fans then men!)

Girl I like claims to be a hockey fan, and I need a first date idea and am kinda stuck with Friday which is a game night. I have two tickets for Friday's game. Like I said, she says she is a fan and I don't really want to miss a good game.

So do I go to the game with her? Does that mean I have to pay lots of attention to her rather than focusing on the game and drinking beer since it is a first date?

Please advise.
