Try having kids in the car and having to take each of them out of their car seats, make sure all of them have their boots and jackets done up, stand in a long line up in the store and make sure none of them touch anything or anybody, because these customer's have waited for 15 minutes longer than the drive thru line.

If I go to Tim's in the morning with my kids, (very rare) I will be taking the drive thru and probably order 5 breakfast sandwiches or a dozen doughnuts. Having a beverage only line is not going to happen, it doesn't make sence for the company to endorse spending a lot more money for retro fitting a building to help individuals spend less money.

I understand the staff concerns and I have had to deal with crabbiness from retail customers in past jobs, but the companies put these things in for convenience, like who remembers when most Tim's in Calgary didn't have INTERACT. It made the lines faster but it sure wasn't convenient for the customer that doesn't carry cash or have change.

No, I am not one of those individuals that open the window 1/4 of an inch for the full service gas stations to fit my credit card through but I sure like the pay at the pump for same reason as stated above. I don' have to pull my kids out of the car to go and pay.
