I personally don't get it. My buddy however, loves NASCAR. It's probably his favourite "sport". He said once you get into it and get to know all the drivers it really adds to it. It's like a big soap opera, with all their little feuds and rivalries. He knows all the details about the drivers, cars, race teams, sponsors, etc. Hardcore.

I still can't get around the fact that it's a bunch of cars driving around in a circle 500 times.
