I grew up in Calgary/Edmonton, lived in Arizona, California and Ohio and have recently moved to Vancouver for a few months. The sushi here is absolutely second to none.

In fact, I was sitting in a cafe with a Japanese waitress who was eager to practice her english. She's from Hiroshima and has lived in Vancouver for 3 months. She told me that the sushi here is better than back in Japan - fresher and high quality fish.

So, sushi lovers... next time youre in Van-city, check it out. All you can eat and especially the little hole-in-the-wall places that have hilarious names (Hello Sushi, Fun Sushi Time, etc...) are great. And cheap.
