For some reason I thought Bret always hated Hogan, but it doesnt sound that way in his book. He mentions he thinks Hulk wasn't a very good wrestler, but as a man he respects him. Same with Randy Savage, who he says was great to work with in the ring. And I'm not surprised to learn that the Ultimate Warrior was a douschebag.

Just finished Jericho's book (great, great read BTW - highly recommend it) and he also had good things to say about Hogan. Jericho noted that Hogan was the only one from the WCW roster (besides himself and Benoit I believe) that attended Owen Hart's funeral in Calgary after he passed away. A lot of guys in WCW would've know Owen but with all the ego's and the way WCW was f'd up at the time, it said alot about Hogan's character to attend the funeral (based on the ongoing bitter WCW-WWF feud - my interpretation anyway). None of the other WCW wrestlers had the sack or character to show up.
Other interesting note about this in Jericho's book - Owen's funeral was around the time that Jericho was deciding to move to the WWE (WWF at the time). Hogan - who was highly influential and in on all the backstage politics with Nash/Hall/Bischoff etc in WCW - comes up to Jericho after the funeral and asks Jericho if he's going to sign with the WWF. Jericho says yea and Hogan asks him 'can you take me with you?' Found that fairly interesting...
Anyway, just got Hart's book the other day - gotta finish another book here but can't wait to read this one.
