I'm certain she does care. I'm certain she gives this job and her potential future job everything in her fibre.
However the more important observation is:
1. Does she speak what will please the most voters?
2. Is she told keywords and phrases that please most voters?
3. Is she more practiced in public than most actors in films/tv?
Truth is she's doing what most polititians do in order to get elected, in their own minds all of this is needed for the greater good and its a necessary evil.
Now do we blame the polititians for behaving this way, or the voters and the average dumb american for needing to be spoon fed this BS day in and day out in order to get their vote?
Who's the guilty one?
We could always hope to educate people more effectively, encourage free thinking and make education a top priority for the USA. But its easier to have none of that, keep the populace bored, focused on reality TV shows and celebrity gossip.
