I don't understand why the BCS would generate more money then an 8 team playoff. None of the other BCS games meant anything an I only tuned in when I wasn't doing something. As the theoretical playoffs progressed into the semis and finals they would only get more intriguing. Rather then have 31 meaningless games the only thing happening between the last meaningful regular season game and the Championship game a full monthlater.
