I think she wants her private life to be in the public view because she's got nothing going on in her professional life to keep her in the spotlight.

I agree, she could have taken some actions to try and correct things. She also needed some guidance in her life.
But the paparazzi follow them all over now, no matter where they go. There was just a very interesting article that I read. A lot of the Hollywood celebrities own homes in Aspen, other more remote areas in Montana etc, to try to get some peace and quiet. Well, the paparazzi are there now too, they are like vultures.
You know, a year or two ago, I heard Jann Arden on a phone in radio show, smart woman. She was responding to a question by a parent of a 16 year old, apparently the child was talented, had won some talent contests and was asking Arden for advice to promote the child's career.
Arden said, the best thing you can do is not give them a career at this stage in their life. She said, she was there, did that, it is much worse now, and what you see on TV is only the tip of the iceberg. She said, wait till they are at least 21, even later if you can postpone it. And she added that if the talent is there now, it will be there later on, but later on, the child would have a better foundation as to how to handle the talent and everything that goes along with it.
