Way to go America.

I heard somewhere that it is actually an American tactic (not Britney herself, but the increased focus on celebs) to keep people distracted from all of the other BS going on and that this has been going on for the better part of at least the last 100 or so years. Wasn't it during the great depression that many iconic movie stars (like Greta Garbo and Bette Davis to name a couple) made their marks? World War II saw movies like Gone With the Wind (1939) & Casablanca (1942). Now with 9/11, Iraq and Afghanistan and everything else, the American media seems to be going way overboard on the lives of celebrities, is it just a coincidence?

So back to Britney, I saw a news report where they said that the kids were now in good hands because they were with Kevin Federline
