My wife and sister in law did the survivor bootcamp that ken0042 mentioned. They really liked it. Just be aware that it serves a purpose (fast weight loss and toning). Bootcamps are indeed effective but to maintain that level of activity once you're done is quite a challenge. If you don't maintain the activity level, you could fall back to square one.
It is indeed cheaper than a trainer, but if I was looking for long term results I'd probably pay the extra $$ or do multiple months of bootcamp.
