thanks bobblehead, that was a good read. Interesting to see actual numbers related to quality with the cables. It would appear as though my 5$ cable will display 1080p just as a 100$ monster would. Looks like problems appear once we hit 1440p . . . I'm all for future proofing but frankly I think the 95$ difference is absolutely crazy. I might have to join Photon's "handing monoprice.com cards out at futureshop" movement.
