Yup. And I have not rinsed prior to getting my Miele either. Before that had 2 Inglis models, never rinsed with them either. Like I said, might pay attention to some of the pots, depending on what you have cooked in them.
And I dont know what it is about a Miele either, they do such a good job washing, but they dont dump over plastics either. Before you would have to be careful in anchoring your plastic containers or fold down the dividers to keep them in place, not anymore. Just put the plastics in, turn on the dishwasher, when I open the door upon completion, they are in their proper place.
Miele no longer has the drying element in the bottom of the dishwasher either, but I have noticed most models are going away from that now. So your plastics never melt, even if put on the bottom shelf.
