I forgot that there is something different that has to be done with the initial installation of a Miele dishwasher. Not sure exactly what, I think the drain hose is suspended higher or looped different, but don't quote me on that. The dishwasher manual will tell you what it is. When I upgraded to my first Miele, I had an installer come out and attend to it. Now with the second Miele I have, just was a matter of removing old one and plugging in the new one.
