I'll give you that, but it certainly doesn't mean that the tiger is domesticated or in any way meant to live in captivity. It takes generations upon generations to domesticate. To expect a carnivore to idly sit in a cage and be a cute cuddly kitty is ######ed. It was probably plotting it's escape the day it realized there was a wall.
I feel for the people that got injured and killed (christmas notwithstanding), but the cat was just doing what a cat does. The (assumable) fact that the best way to handle the situation was to kill the cat is the sad part for me.
The humans that were mauled and killed have nobody to blame but the SF zoo. Certainly not the cat.
