For anyone that cares... I ended up buying this....

I dealt with Jed's Equipment in Fairview. Cost me $927 altogether. I didn't bother haggling so if you got it cheaper, please don't tell me.

Yeah, after alot of investigation, I determined that this was the best machine for my price range. All I need is for some damn snow to fly so that I can test it out. And by 'me', I mean my stepmom calling me to say that it worked great and dad is inside listening to Rush Limbaugh and not having a heart attack on the sidewalk. Because, you know, if the liberals had their way, there'd be no snowblowers. Damn tree-hugging hippies.
