Thrashers beat the Avs 4-3 in a battle of the backups. Hatcher scores the winner late in the 3rd. Mason was out for a few months after being attacked by Blake of the Flyers and finally started a game and won in his return. Another Thrasher dman goes down as 7th defenseman Hejda is injured. He joins Rob Blake on the sidelines. Hatcher, Staios, Richardson returned from injuries last week. Hopefully Atlanta can get through this stretch of games with no more injuries. Thrashers play NJ tomorrow.
