He's not talking about women like you. Curvy
is attractive. The problem on dating sites is that many women describe themselves as "curvy" because they don't want to use the (more accurate) description of "overweight" or "fat".
So in that context, I can understand how a veteran to a dating site might automatically filter out women who check the "curvy" box because they've been dishonestly tricked into meeting unattractive, overweight people that way.
