Appetizer would have to be peeled shrimp with cocktail sauce, with some bruschetta. Next up would be the seafood medley I used to eat in Rome. Don't even know what it's called, but it has mussels, oysters, clams, spaghettini noodles in a garlic/tomato/cayenne sauce...
After that, lasagna made by my stepmom. Unbeatable, even in Italy (and she's dutch).
Some stracotto di manzo (a kind of roast beef with a bolognese sauce on it) for a main course, and of course a garden salad with oil and balsamic vinegar.
Red wine throughout (preferably Valpolicella) (and don't bother mentioning that white wine goes better with seafood). A shot of tequila before and afterward, and all the beer they'll feed me until they throw the switch. Stella will do.
Why are we talking about this? Now I'm hungry.
