I have the opposite problem, being tall (just over 6'3) with a lean midsection (34 inch) and need every inseem-inch i can get. When i had a 36 waist it was not problem but since loosing the 2 inches the legs all seem to have shrunk 4 inches on everything but the nicest jeans. The nicest jeans usually come in really long legs because they expect the fine mens wear store you buy them at to hem them for you! lol...

And i like Agave's too if i am doing it with a nice dress shirt and blazer, in the right cut though of course.

Yes inseams can be hemmed, but depending on the cut and wash it can throw things off. Hemming a 36 jean to a 32 often destroys the overall cut by getting rid of any boot cut at the bottom. Also can make it look like knee distressing is at your ankles. In the states they seem to have inseams sizes 30-36+, but here all we have is 34.... kind of ridiculous
