I'm not a big fan of purposely trying to put fade into my jeans. I've seen people go as far as sandpaper and staples, seems a bit counterproductive to me. Why not just buy a prewashed pair then.
The greycasts do have some pretty good fades, but the denim started to where through before they got complete. So I had to stop wearing them fulltime after about 12 months. They are more or less semi-retired. They are tight, but fit super comfortable though. Perfectly molded for me.

Most of the guys in the sufu contest are like you. Their jeans just reflect there lives. As far a people using sandpaper and staples that's just stupid and your probably better of going out and buying a pair of prewash jeans.
