I am not a great skater but my kids are getting older and we are starting to make use of the local community rink on sunny afternoons.
I picked up a pair of skates but only went with the size of my shoe as reference.
It seems that they are really tight around the middle of my foot and loose at the toes and around the heel.
When I stride forward I can feel my heel coming loose from the skate.
I am thinking that they are too skinny for my wide foot. If that is possible.
Are skates available off the shelf for varying foot types ??
Or do I have to bend over for a custom fit pair....
