On my way from my eye doctor on 16th Ave NW, cops were raiding a motel room at the Red Carpet Inn (I think that is the name?). I stopped for a pedestrian and saw cops breaking down a door with their guns drawn.
I continued my drive east on 16th Ave and cops had pulled over a car just past SAIT. Traffic was going really slow, so I look over and three guys were standing at the side of the road with cops in handcuffs while another one was being searched.
Crazy.

This summer, I was in Calgary for...I think it was my brother's hockey tournament. Anyways, we're driving to the rink the one day, and there's this lady tailgating another. So they go back and forth flipping eachother the bird and whatnot. Then at a light, the one lady gets out of her car, walks up to the other one, and just starts screaming and cursing. It was hilarious.
Then, on the way back from the rink the same day (I think it might have been the same corner actually) there were like 3 police cars and a couple cop motorbikes...they had this big cube van pulled over, half way on the curb, and they were all buzzing around it. I still like to think it was a drug bust...
Anyways, that's my Calgary crime story...I thought that was cool, coming from the nearest city reports when the cops are called to take a drunk to the tank...
