Maybe we are starting to deny these murderers the attention they desire? De-sensitization and all that?
I hate to sound cold and all, but I read the headline for this on the BBC and and I gave one of these looks
and didn't even bother reading the story.
When the Columbine thing happened I watched the news for 14 hours and I still know the names of the kids who did it. I'll never know this guy's name.
I think it was in "Se7en" when a character told the crazy dude that he was nothing more than a "movie of the week". Whoever did this isn't even that anymore.
And after writing all that, hopefully this blather of mine isn't inappropriate for the thread.
