Fact is, I see it every day. I live in Beddington, and take the Bus/Train/Bus to and from the Highfield Industrial Park every day. I run the entire gamut of creed, colour, and background 3 hours every damn day for the last year.
There are groups of people here for money and nothing else. They drive like morons, throw food/paper/garbage all over the train and downtown, and generally just act like self-absorbed visitors.
You are correct that making a sweeping generalization is typically incorrect, however, I think my recent experience gives me the precedence to say what I have been saying. In fact, I'm sure plenty of people have been running into a similar experience, they just are afraid to state it, lest they have their throats jumped down by the self-appointed PC brigade.
None of this is a tirade against any minority, it is a tirade against selfish, arrogant individuals who are only concerned with themselves and have no idea what it means to be part of a community. There are people who are used to having their cities be the crapholes of the world (LA, New York, Detroit, etc.) and think they can treat Calgary like that as well.
That is not okay.

Well that certianly is a departure from your original post, you'll have to forgive me if it looks to me like quite a bit of back peddling.
And no, it isn't a tirade against any minority, it is a tirade against all minorities, with the exception of 1.
Saying it's all the Mexican's fault is not different than saying it's everyone's fault, except the people that were already here....oh, and "Asians" too, cause I'm married to one.
