The Kiprusoff wandered alone for a time and was tempted in the Desert of Fallen Confidence, where the devils sayeth to him "thou art but waste and should be cast aside." To which the Kiprusoff responded, "I will not fail my father, the Sutter, and will return to climb the mountain. Get yourself behind me devils" and the devils were banished to the pit of babbling nonsense from whence they came. And the Kiprusoff returned to his Disciples of Defence, who had learned the errors of their ways, and made his face shine upon them once more and prosperity was once again plentiful.
