Default Online DVD Rental Services

In anticipation of seeing the new Coen Brothers movie "No Country For Old Men," I've been trying to track down one of their first movies, "Blood Simple," at a DVD rental place here in Sudbury.

So frustrating. It's like searching for the Holy Grail (not the movie). I hate Blockbuster, and every other cookie cutter corporation like it that caters to the lowest common denominator.

So, I'm listening to a completely unrelated podcast today, and the hosts are talking about Netflix. I decide that this kind of service/program is perfect for me, as it will enable me to see all kinds of movies I've wanted to see that I either missed or have been unable to track down.

Does anyone here have any experience with Netflix or another similar company? Would you recommend it? I've heard some horror stories about DVDs going missing- what happens in that situation? What were the pro's/con's?

Cheers CP, THX in advance.
