actually you can't do that anymore. it is now illegal for any post office or postal employee to deliver some mail but not others. the junk mail people pay the postage just like everyone else so their mail has to get delivered too. it was in the paper about a month ago. apparently the companies who mail out flyers were pretty pissed off at Canada Post because like i said they pay the postage too. essentially what you are asking your mail deliverer to do is tamper with your mail.

i don't like junk mail either but hey they paid the postage they should get it delivered the same as everyone else. that being said you should be able to refuse mail from certain senders but this would only create the same problem as trying to block spam from your email account, they'll just keep on changing the sender name.
