Where to report a possible stolen car?
There is a white Dodge Ram at the end of my street. It has been in the same spot for quite a while. It looks kind of like a work truck - crew cab, bunch of stuff in the box. One of the back windows had been broken at some time in the past and fixed with plastic and tuck tape. But I noticed a week ago the plastic had been ripped and is blowing in the wind. The door behind the driver's door is also dinged.
Heck it may be someone in the area, but since it hasn't moved in a couple weeks and now has snow blowing in the back window, I don't know who would just leave it there.
I tried calling 311, they said it was a parking enforcement issue, parking enforcement forwarded me to another number, and that number said the vehicle wasn't parked illegally so it wasn't their issue.
So I tried the non-emergency police number but the closest option ended up saying to call the parking enforcement number again.
So, before I get on the merry-go-round again, does anyone know the correct number/option to actually report this?
