The thing about the teaser preview is that even if someone dies, they can now come back, as we have seen with HRG. So we could see a big character "die" and get brought back again.
As for who I want to die, I would say Elle and Mexican chick. Elle is too cutesy for me (the line in one of the last episodes where she says, "Can we keep him?" was just gross.) The Mexican chick, well, her power, I just don't like it.
Who I think will die of the choices that you listed from the preview, I will guess Matt and Nikki.

I think it was just so cheesy for the 2nd time in 2 seasons having Claire watching Jim Carey get shot. Remember the damn and the Haitian in season 1?
Can any other show have a cast of so many annoying characters? Claire, flying boy, electrolass, irishgirl, molly, mexican wonder twins and new orleans fastfood girl. Even Peter and Suresh has gone bonkers this season.
They need to change the format of this show to be a superhero war. That is the only way they can save it. Or cast that jason bateman guy from firefly.
