During a recent hate-filled rant, Rock imitated a White House press briefing:
"Mr. President, what about gay marriage? '###### them ******s,'" Rock said of Bush.
This quote is taken way out of context here. In the routine, Rock was making fun of Bush for his unwillingness to say anything definitive on any subject other than gay marriage. Rock wasn't being anti-gay at all at the time. He was making fun of Bush. And it was hilarious.
I generally find Chris Rock to be hilarious. He can be quite over-the-top at times, for sure, but he also hits a lot of issues dead on and isn't afraid to say what he thinks. The comment about straight black men not watching the Oscars was...ill advised, though.
