Default Best Weather in Canada

I was having a discussion with a good friend of mine from the coast. I suppose it's all opinion but I argued that Calgary has a better climate than Vancouver, but Kelowna had a better climate than either city and the best climate in the country.

He argues that the cold here makes it worse than the coast while I argue that the sunshine here far outweighs the cold. Am I in the minority here? I think Calgary's climate while sometimes unpredictable is among the best in the country. Here's my 5 best Climates in Canada.

1.) Kelowna (Okanagan Valley), Great long summers, and cool winters with some snow.

2.) Southern Alberta, Plenty of sunshine and warm winter temps compared to alot of Canada. Summers are comfortable with sunshine.

3.) Victoria, Dryer summers and winters than Vancouver. Warm temps in the winter but still rainy for months.

4.) Lower Mainland, Temps are comfy year round, but sometimes no sunny days for a month and lots or rain.

5.) Southern Ontario, Hot muggy summers, but beautiful spring and fall, with decent moderate winters.
