If they pride themselves on perfection than I would say they are doing a pretty crappy job this season and the Colts game was an absolute disaster.
It didn't seem to hurt the previous 41 Super Bowl champions when they let up on teams so I imagine that the message wouldn't be that bad to the Patriots. They just might be able to overcome the psychological pain of not being able to pad their stats and still manage some success in the season.
