How much do you tip for Pizza/Chinese/Swiss Chalet?
What about cabs??
|
Free Delivery: 15%
Delivery charge: round off to next dollar on CC bill
Cabbie: Calgary 10-15% depends how long the ride is, longer ride=more tip, when I'm a tourist in Canada 20%, in US 25%, International: depends on the country and their customs.

Is that the rule. I always get pee'd off when the delivrey charde is not told to me, then the bill is a little bit higher at the door. I always feel bad when I meet the poor guy face to face and give him 4 bucks for a pizza.
Did you know you can ask some drivers to pick you up liquor or smokes on the way. My buddy does this all the time and he usually tips him 15 to 20 bucks for it. [/b][/quote]
I'm not aware of any "rules", that's just the way I do it. Usually they will tell you about the $4 delivery charge or whatever over the phone or it's printed on the flyer when you order.
I don't know about booze or smokes but I don't see why not, it's on his way anyways, I did ask for the newspaper once though (stuck at work and couldn't leave).
