Yeah, in about 20 years (I think Todd Blackledge in 1983 is the last one...who??) of being a Chiefs fan I don't think they've ever used a top round pick on a QB. Which really is a long time for an NFL team to go without using a top pick at that position. Steve Deberg, Dave Kreig, Joe Montana, Steve Bono, Elvis Grbac, Rich Gannon, Trent Green were all pretty long in the tooth by the time they made their way to the Chiefs. Not exactly a position that King Carl has put a lot of thought into. Or I guess maybe first round QB's have too high a tendency to be busts for him to use a pick on one?
