I've shot alot of things, and usually the bullet just leaves a couple of holes.
I know certain bullets like hollow points are supposed to cause more damage, but would they really cause a watermelon to just explode like that?
I was under the impression that the reason hollow points cause more damage is because they break up more easily and the shrapnel rips things apart. That bullet didn't deform at all, so I'm curious about what is causing such massive damage to the watermelon.

I was thinking that too. It must have been hollow point or a high powered rifle (like a .306). Just a regular handheld would leave a pretty clean in and out hole... but that wouldnt be as exciting right?
